What is your name? I go by Steven in public, but my real name is Taylor.
What is your age? 16
Do you believe in a supreme being? I don't make faith arguments. I believe that the existence of a supreme being is highly unlikely, but higher than a 0% chance. I live my life on the assumption that there is no supreme being.
What best describes your religious beliefs? Atheist
Do you believe in the concept of heaven and hell in one form or another? See argument for "supreme being"
How often do you attend communal religious ceremonies & functions (i.e. Church, rituals, gatherings with other believers, etc)? Never.
Are your religious beliefs the same as those of your family or cultural tradition? My immediate family is very secular. The rest of my family is very mixed Catholic and Protestant, and most are very prejudiced and intolerant.
In your opinion, how significant is religion to our society? In American society, Religion has no functional purpose. It's influence is unfair and undeserved.
What best describes, in general, your attitude towards religion? Ranging from tolerance to apathy, unless you discriminate or try to push your views on someone else. Then I am your eternal enemy.
Do you think religion gives us good morals? Religion and morality are not mutually exclusive. Everyone has their own ideas of morality. In fact, it's been statistically shown that popular morality is more of a biological instinct then a product of religious faith. If morality is subjective and biological, what purpose does religion serve in civilization?
What religious ideology do you find most complicated, and/or restricted to follow? Fundamentalism is everywhere. But, in my experience, Christianity is the most divided, most hypocritical, and most vague of the Big Three. Islam is the most violent of the Big Three, and I assume Judaism falls in between, but I'm not schooled in Judaism in particular.

The speech was good. But, I was a little offended.
All the god damned praying and references to scripture, and an opening prayer given by a sharp supporter of prop 8.
I guess the 20% of this country who are nonbelievers and the 11% who aren't straight or of the "sex=gender" convention will just have to bend over and take another segregation stick right up the ass.
